The FUSION project

We are part of the EU-funded Interreg project FUSION, where Danish and German high school students work with climate fiction, data, and innovation to develop new ideas for sustainable solutions for the future.

The project strengthens creativity, agency, and cross‑border collaboration and forms part of the English curriculum for selected classes.

The project aims to achieve the following goals:

  1. To overcome the sense of powerlessness of German and Danish high school students on both sides of the German-Danish border.
  2. To present actionable solutions for achieving a sustainable climate future.
  3. To develop a learning module to be integrated into the English curriculum at high schools.
  4. To develop and implement joint climate initiatives across the German-Danish border.
  5. To provide high school students with insights into future career opportunities and strategies for responding to climate change.
  6. To establish a cross-border network that creates climate change initiatives.
